40's glamorous glass

I am researching furniture and home comforts from the 1940s for a photo shoot and just marvel at how lovely cut glass is, I have a real thing for it, although it stops at little animals created out of Swarovski.

I love the way it is clear but can create a rainbow of colours when light is reflected through it.

I found this in museum of London archives for inspiration and sourcing but I think you can pick up bargain copies from stores like Next and Matalan, or go hunting like me in thrift shops.
