It is now official, as of last Friday I am now a published stylist. Some months ago I got in touch with the local Crystal Palace magazine 'The Transmitter' as I loved their work with vintage clothing and felt that they were missing a trick not focusing more on furniture and pretty things for the home. To cut a long story short, after a couple of meetings over wine and chatting to local businesses we set a date for a 1940s blitz themed shoot.

Things didn't go as smoothly as one would hope and after losing our models I ended up not only making my debut as a set stylist, but also as a model and writer (the latter more willingly!)
It was quite a challenging day (especially when we almost didn't have the beautiful Deco sideboard that I had based the whole composition on!) but it was so much fun and turned out well.
Thanks ever so much to Kate Walters who was my right hand lady and Andy the Transmitter editor for the opportunity.

Check out the issue online and let me know what you think! There are plans for a 70s shoot nearer Christmas, so any aspiring models living in South London let me know!
